ELVIS VISTIED OVER 3,000 KIDS AT A DOZEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
This 5-STAR Book is illustrated by a 5th Grader to help kids read and to promote Anti-Bullying!
The Adventures of Elvis the Pug is a children's inspirational and educational series for the ages of 7-to-11 (Grades 2-5). Full of twists and surprises, this 100-page story will certainly capture your child's interest as they learn valuable information about – animals, geography, history, science, math, etc. – and cherished life lessons. It's all about reinforcing FAMILY VALUES and to interact with others as they wish to be treated.
VOLUME II: Bullies are Bad...KIDS R. KOOL!
SYNOPSIS: Elvis, a beautiful brown Pug, was recently adopted by a loving family in the small town of St. Clair, Michigan (see Volume I: Lost in Canada).
On a school wide field trip, the Jones family pets (Elvis the Pug and Crazy the Cat) accompany the elementary students on their day long field trip to The Jones Family Farm. At this 500 acre farm, nestled alongside the thick woods of St. Clair County, the children are ecstatic to learn all about horses, pigs, deer, chickens, cows, etc. Everyone is excited.
But then, after the lunch break, a group of kids gets lost in the enormous woods. Trying to find their way back before the school buses depart, the children – with Elvis and Crazy – are suddenly confronted by a hungry black bear. With Elvis protecting the children, they manage to escape the clutches of the bullying bear. However, as the bear continues to track them, they are threatened by a pack of angry wolves.
The children turn to their bullied classmate Herman for help. That’s right! The dyslexic and stuttering 5th Grader, who the kids continuously picked on, now comes to their aid to lead them out of the darkening woods.
LET’S STOP BULLING…NOW!
Kids are often bullied because they're perceived to be different. Not only color, race, religion, etc.; but differences, like: ADHD, Anxiety, Asperger, Autism, Depression, Downs, Dyslexia, Stuttering, etc. These profoundly affect so many of our children. But, their classmates don't realize there is no "normal" and bully them anyway.
